Rare Footage of a Smiling, Laughing Michael Bradley Surfaces
I haven't seen Michael Bradley smile in...maybe ever actually. Some people call him Robocop because of his all-business demeanor & chrome-dome but I'm sure the guy has a laugh every now and then -possibly when people report that his old man has given a farewell speech to a team he's not been fired from for instance.
Apparently he's all smiles in Birmingham. And why not? He's 23 years-old, he's just signed for a fairly-large club in the BPL and they've already got him shilling for tickets for your probable debut against Fulham. I don't know about you but if it was me you couldn't tell me sh*t. Go on son, be happy.

Baby Bradley is a Villain (and Not Just to Mexico Fans)
Shout out to Micheal Bradley for his loan to Aston Villa. With 4 Yanks now on the books the Villains have moved well beyond Fulham in the "we'll sign anyone with a whiff of light beer & cheeseburgers about them"-race and that's kinda special. Keeps it interesting.
I'll tell you this as well: if Baby Bradley plays for Villa as well as he's played Heerenveen and Borussia MonchenGladWrap I guarantee you he will not be there long before his loan goes permanent or he gets snatched up by one of the EPL's glamor clubs. If he doesn't I'll eat one of Kyle Beckerman's sweaty, post-practice dreads.

Brad Guzan: A Chivas USA Original
Chivas USA of Major League Soccer today announced that 23-year-old goalkeeper Brad Guzan, a Chivas USA Original and the 2007 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, has joined one of England’s most storied soccer clubs, Aston Villa of the English Premier League. The announcement comes following approval of Guzan’s British work permit today by the United Kingdom’s Home Office this morning.
Above is a video celebrating the Chivas USA career of Brad Guzan, as he prepares to ply his trade in England. Here's the official press release announcing his departure.
Also on the Chivas USA website are columns by Luis Bueno and Rigo Cervantez, who have been watching "El Guzano" play since his very first game with the Red-and-White.
