With the 9th pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft, Chivas USA selected midfielder Michael Lahoud, from Wake Forest University. Click here for his bio from Wake Forest - we'll have more information on the player soon.

In other draft news, Chivas USA traded the team's second pick in the draft, which was the 4th of the second round (19th overall) to the LA Galaxy in return for the 33rd and 49th overall picks, as well as a player to be named later.More information to come!
